Why Swiss Martial Arts Gyms Struggle on Instagram (And How to Fix It)
Most gyms post hard work, medals, and technique clips but still fail to attract new members. Here is the content system that changes that.
The real issue is not effort, it is positioning
Most gym owners in Switzerland are not lazy with content. They train hard, coach hard, and post consistently. The problem is that the content looks exactly like every other gym in the feed.
Potential members do not compare your technique quality. They compare how clear your gym feels, who it is for, and whether they can trust you. If those answers are not obvious in five seconds, they keep scrolling.
What to stop posting without context
Random sparring clips, isolated medal photos, and drills with no narrative are not useless, but alone they do not sell your gym. They prove activity, not value.
Each post should answer one specific question a new member has: Is this gym for people like me? Will I be supported? Can I make progress here?
A better weekly structure for your gym
Use a simple four-part content structure: authority (coach expertise), proof (member progress), culture (community atmosphere), and offer clarity (what next step to take).
When that structure repeats every week, your page becomes easier to understand. Better understanding means better trial requests.
